Forthcoming Events Around the World

Globally April is Parkinson's Awareness month, and all over the world there will be events, walks, talks, television interviews and much more. If you want to know what is going on in your country or area look for your local PD organization, which will almost certainly be organizing and event close to you, or that you can find online.

THE 16th PARKINSON'S UNITY WALK Saturday, April 16, 2011. Central Park, NY, USA is the biggest of it's kind, drawing thousands of people.

In the UK Parkinson's Awareness Week runs from 11th - 17th April and there will be regional and national events culminating with the London Marathon on Sunday. Go to Parkinson's UK for more information.

Across Canada there events are being held. Go to Parkinson Society Canada for events in your community.

Go to the EPDA website for coming events in Europe. This site has news of events being held in many European countries through 2011
